A Special Invitation to Our Wedding
Dear family and friends,
Damaris and I are honored to invite you to our wedding. Though we have known each other for a relatively short time, we quickly discovered that we share the same core values, life goals, and a deep desire for a stable, meaningful relationship. With openness and sincerity, we got to know one another, and through that process, we both recognized the strength of what we have together.
Unlike the expectations common in American culture, we did not feel the need for a lengthy period of dating. Instead, we felt clarity and peace in moving forward with this commitment. It has been a joyful and affirming journey, and we are choosing to begin our life together in marriage.
I know this celebration takes place outside of the United States (in Mexico), and I understand that this is no small request. But I want you to know that you are being invited because you are among the people I hold closest to my heart. My circle is small, and your presence would mean a great deal to me as we mark this new chapter of our lives.
